MEX Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Cup Reading mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our App and its services.

By downloading, installing, or using Cup Reading, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our App.

2. About Our Cup Reading Service

2.1 How Readings Are Produced (AI Service)

Our cup reading service works as follows:

1. You submit: 3 photos of your coffee cup along with basic information (name, gender, marital status)
2. Photos are uploaded: Your images are securely transmitted to our servers via HTTPS
3. AI analysis: With your permission, our server sends your photos and the information above to Meta's AI service, which writes a personalized reading
4. Pre-written readings: Some readings, for example when the AI service is unavailable, are selected from a collection written in advance by our team
5. You receive: Your reading is delivered through the app (typically within a few minutes)

2.2 Our Team

Our team writes the collection of fallback readings and supports the service. Team members with access to submitted content are:

• ✓ Bound by confidentiality agreements and professional ethics
• ✓ Required to maintain user privacy and respect
• ✓ Given access only to what is needed for quality control and support
• ✓ NOT given access to your email, account details, or location

2.3 Quality Standards

Our readings follow these guidelines:

• ✓ Provide respectful and positive entertainment readings
• ✓ Avoid harmful, threatening, or distressing content
• ✓ Maintain confidentiality of all submitted photos and information
• ✓ Focus on entertainment and cultural tradition
• ✓ Photos that do not show a coffee cup are rejected automatically, and you can send a new photo

3. Information We Collect and How We Use It

3.1 Personal Information You Provide

When you use Cup Reading, we collect and store the following information on our servers:

4. Photo Upload and Explicit Consent

3.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: App features used, screen interactions, session duration
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Token: For sending push notifications about cup readings, chat messages, and horoscopes
• Crash Reports: App errors and performance data via Firebase Crashlytics
• Analytics Data: App usage patterns via Firebase Analytics (anonymized)

3.3 Google Sign-In Data

When you sign in using Google:

• We receive your name and email address from your Google account
• We use this information for authentication and account management

3.4 In-App Purchase Information

8. How We Share Your Information

• Purpose: To operate and improve the app

8.3 Legal Requirements

8.4 Business Transfers

• If MEX Apps is acquired, merged, or restructured, your information may be transferred
• You will be notified of any such change

10. Account and Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time.

What happens when you request deletion:

• ✓ Account-related identifiers (if signed in with Google) are permanently deleted
• ✓ Device identifiers used for daily cup limits (Advertising ID – hashed) are removed
• ✓ All submitted cup photos are permanently deleted from our servers
• ✓ Cup reading history is deleted
• ✓ Analytics data is anonymized and can no longer be linked to any user or device
• ✓ Our staff will no longer have access to your photos or content
• ✓ Chat messages posted in public or shared chat rooms may remain visible, but will not be associated with any identifiable user or device

Timeframe: Deletion requests are processed within 48–72 hours.

This deletion policy applies to users who sign in with Google and users who use the app without creating an account.

11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cup Reading does not use cookies directly. However:

• Third-party services (AdMob, Firebase) may use cookies and similar technologies
• These technologies help provide personalized experiences and analytics
• You can control cookie preferences through your device settings
